[DISCUSSION] What do you want Big Bang’s new concept to be for their Korean comeback?

Big Bang hasn’t provided us an official date for their comeback just yet, however YG has said many times that their aim is for Big Bang to comeback towards the end of August or beginning/midway of September. The anticipation is way high for their music, as well as for their concept since they are all known as a “fashion idol” in Korea.

As we all know Big Bang has tried many different concepts in the past. Going from hip-hop, to punk, to very colorful, to formal, etc, etc. They have tried out every possible style and concept out there, for both Japanese and Korean promotions.

But is there one that you really liked and wish they would try again? A certain image? Or better yet, do you have in mind a brand new concept? I was just thinking all the changes the boys have gone through since 2006 and I wondered, what will it be this time? Here are some of their previous concepts:


Some people don’t care much about the concept and just care for the music from these boys. My personal opinion is the following, I have loved them all except for Lollipop 2. With every concept I see Big Bang grow more and more as artists. Honestly I do care about the concept, very much, but as long as they don’t wear ripped clothes and come back with a ‘dark’ concept that boy groups are already using then it’s fine.

Although Big Bang are trendsetters, so I shouldn’t worry. They can come back with just skinny jeans, high tops, nice shirts and jackets, anything they want, but at the end of the day they will most likely rock it and I’d be satisfied with just that. I don’t want them to go back to their hip-hop days though, they should go forwards not backwards.

I don’t have any ideas for a new concept but their last Japanese concept [the last photo] was pretty good in my opinion and I’d like to see them perform with a wardrobe like that more. Just their regular fashion is more than enough for me, nothing too flashy, but they still stand out! Remember that by ‘concept’ I mean the hair, clothes, accessories, just everything that makes up their image. ^^
